The Snake in Priests Clothing

A number of our supporters have asked us to comment on the role the Methodist Church has played in the current disaster. Our analysis shows that the majority of the people affected by the flooding were Fijians, specifically, members of the self-promoted Methodist Church.

The Methodist Church is a sham. Its leaders (who spend time abusing young children) drive around in expensive vehicles while its members scrounge round for morsels of food. The very existence of this denomination raises serious concerns about the level of involvement the church has in politics and over time, the idiotic priests have stated that politics and religion should go hand in hand. We beg to disagree. People such as Tuikilakila Waqairatu should be strung by their feet and the people of this country should stone these heathens to death for their comments and actions which have led this country to the brink of a racial war. The leaders of the church preach and promote racial hatred openly. Its members are then forced to give huge sums of money for the leaders benefits. We do not see this as a church of the people. We are certain that the leaders of the church have long given up their role as teachers of good and advocate everything the devil stands for.

The Methodist church has long been made up of leaders who are hypocrites and choose to openly flaunt their disobedience to the nation and its laws. Whenever there has been a coup, the Methodist church has always publicly supported it. In 2000, these were the same cowards whose actions resulted in the death of loyal soldiers and widespread bloodshed. In 1987, these were the same people who announced that the coup was something ordained by God. These self-serving men and women should realize once and for all that there days of dabbling in politics are over. They cannot continue to hide under the umbrella of religion and then openly preach violence towards other groups and their financial excesses will soon be checked as we denounce them here in front of the whole world. The leaders of this cult need to realize that they cannot stand in the middle - they must make a choice between religion and politics and their sick sly voices will not be allowed to speak from both podiums.

The Methodist church continues to oppose the govt. Why do they do this? Because this coup ensured that all their dirty dealings and snivelling ways were brought to the fore and the people realized that the leaders were nothing more then a sham. The people have been blinded far too long and we will not allow this to continue. We still remember during 2000 when Kanailagi and his group of supporters announced their support for the coup and stated that the Methodists accepted this.
Commentators like Jone are correct when they say that the church is nothing more then a breeding ground for corrupt preachers and their refusal to accept the Charter is testimony to their corrupt ways.
The Methodist church refused to accept this coup not because they thought it was wrong but because they would no longer receive those million dollar donations from the corrupt govts. of the past. It will be a cold day in hell before this govt.bows to the demands of a cult which has long corrupted the minds of our people.

Instead of sitting on the sidelines and simply crying about democracy, it would do the church leaders good if they got up and worked with the govt. instead of trying to destroy it. The Methodist church has a mission to work against us and we say that perhaps its time the leaders go back to their villages and plant cassava instead of assuming they can weevil their way into govt. with their racist agendas. When its people are dying of food and looking for means to survive, the church haunts them with their demands to give them more money so its preachers can go and have dinners at JJ's and other lavish eateries.

It is time the supporters of these criminals realize that they are merely feeding snakes who will continue to leech of these hard working individuals instead of doing an honest days work!

Rightfully said igfiji. Every year they collect the hundreds of thousands from us during the annual conference and in our time of need they cant even buy food packs to distribute. Iam ashamed as other churches and non Christians are helping us and no sign of the gready and racist priests. They say to make Fiji a christian state and yet we dont see Christian principles in them.

As a Methodist, I'll be interested to see if our Ministers will expect their "flock" to give generously at this year's solevu and conference. Especially after there has been no action by the upper echelons of the church to rally their congregations around Fiji to donate generously towards Methodists affected by the floods.

Yet again the keepers of the Methodist faith have defiled the house of worship, these hypocrites have worked both methodically and perniciously to disseminate to their congregation the wickedness that lies deep in the hearts of their beings.

For they are ordained in the false belief they are demigods and beyond reproach, yet all the while these bastards are the biggest inebriates and philanderers among other things revel in corruptive practices for which they know no bounds.

They have altered the probabilities of their mortality; they are corrupt and depraved which pervades all human affairs they fete in their sub-normality they are the most despicable of men.

Though they are needed as the SDL party is needed but one hardly admires the SDL party nor these ministers which so strangely resemble vultures, the wickedness implanted by them unto the nation spreads so imperceptible when activities that transgresses moral or civil law goes unchecked they themselves can set no limit to their pestilence or their shamelessness.

We must all oppose the system of society and government in which we have lived in the past; we must be prepared to embrace the future not because we lack the natural ability nor education to do for ourselves what is right but to oppose what is wrong.

We must consider these facts we are neither satisfied nor comfortable knowing that a thousand of our family members and fellowmen are suffering from the barest necessities of life from poor governance and being misled by church ministers and corrupt politicians for predaceous reasons we are equipped to end all ills the nation of Fiji has suffered.

Let’s all embrace and work towards a better future not only for us but our children and theirs.

Why blame the Methodist for not helping?. To the illegal regime - you have made your beds, so sleep in it!. You claim to be the clean up Govt, so here's your best chance to go cleaning. Guess you don't need others help, do you?.

i am worried that these comments might develop into a religious war hia in our beloved country but if it does i wouldn't be surprised because our christian bible says that during the last days we are to expect such things...when non believers and idol worshipers will take over....but listen well because your end is the well of fire..

Your condemnation of the Methpodist Church as a cult is not acceptable. If you dig deep into the religious activities of the churches in Fiji you will find out for yourself and others that the Methodist church has stood for this Country and will remain to be. I am referring here to the contributions to society in education, health and spiritual development.Look beyond your nose and think beyond your arse.
